Product Review:

Zeno is an acne clearing device. It is a hand-held, portable electronic, and rechargable medical device which is clinically proven to make pimples disappear fast. It is a home treatment of individual inflammatory acne pimples.

We get pimples because of the excess skin oil and flaking skin. They plug the opening of a hair follicle, thus creating the ideal environment for acne bacteria to grow. But with the Zeno Acne Device, pimples, according to them, will be prevented.

It uses the proprietary Zeno technology that triggers a heat shock response in lesion-causing microorganisms that makes them self-destructive, allowing the skin to return to a healthy, normal state. In a more detailed explanation, Zeno Technology follows this process:

1. Zeno safely heat an acne lesion to a pre-set temperature range
2. The temperature generates heat shock response
3. Bacteria reacts to heat whereby they transcript a number of genes and activate heat-shock proteins
4. These heat-shock proteins participate in the bacteria's self-destruction

Pros

  • Zeno can clear up a pimple in just hours.
  • Two to three 2½-minute treatments spread over 24 hours are sufficient
  • Often, only one treatment is needed.
  • Has no known side effects

Cons

  • You may have severe drying, pregnancy complications, feeling of warmth, itching, irritation, mild peeling, redness, selling, rash, hives, dizziness, difficulty breathing, tightness in the chest, swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, excessive burning, tenderness of the skin, or extreme dryness.
  • There is no guarantee that oils will be drawn out
  • The device’s tip, if used over and over again, can spread infections and bacteria.
  • Pretty expensive for $89, for the mini Zeno. And the regular Zeno (which is their flagship model) costs $129. The Zeno Pro is $150, and the Zeno MD sells for $200.
  • The product is seems to be geared towards a more adult crowd

Zeno Acne Treatment, generally, is a decent product. It uses an advanced technology and comes from a reputable company. The Zeno website provides all the information about the product and its shipping and billing process. However, the device is really expensive. It doesn't have any kind of proven mechanism of action, making you waste your money. Zeno is not proven to work in any clinical studies, and it does not show how the product would work for some skin types. To sum it up, it wouldn't be any kind of wise choice.

Our #1 Recommendation

exposed image

The exposed skin care system is a 4-step solution that guarantees to give you clear skin within 30 days. This system works to unclog pores, eliminate acne-causing bacteria, regulate oil production, and reduce redness and inflammation.

I've tried over a dozen different acne treatments, and nothing seemed to work as well as Exposed in my opinion. I literally could see a difference in my skin within just a couple days and it didn't dry out my skin like other products such as ProActiv. Exposed comes with a no-questions asked 365-day guarantee, and I can't recommend it enough....
